How to Use Multiple Payment Options in a Single Online Transaction

You are allowed to use two types of payment in a single online transaction. Therefore, you can either use two different gift cards or e-gift cards. You can also use either one gift card or e-gift card and one credit or debit or store or beauty club card.

In order to complete the order, you have to pay the entire amount using up to two methods of payment.

How to Get Your Order Delivered to You

There are different delivery options for you to choose from:

Standard Delivery – This delivery option is free of charge for orders of at least £50. For orders below £50, the standard delivery charge is £3.49. Delivery takes up to 5 business days and your order will be delivered between 8:00am and 8:00pm.

Next Day Delivery – This delivery option will cost you £3.99 and will arrive the next day, unless it is a bank holiday. You can expect your order to be delivered between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Take note that you must complete your order before 9:00pm to have it delivered the next day. If it is a Saturday, you will need to complete your order by 6:00pm.

Nominated Day Delivery – This delivery option will also cost you £3.99 and you can choose the day on when your order will be delivered. There will be no deliveries during bank holidays. You can expect your order to arrive between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Please note that you will need to complete your order by 9:00pm to avail of the nominated day delivery option.

Furniture Delivery – Furniture delivery times can range from next day to several weeks. This depends on the kind of item you have ordered. It is important that you check delivery options when        you place furniture order so you will know when you can expect to receive your order.

If you are not present when a courier attempts a delivery, the courier will let you know through leaving a card. The card will include information on the action that was taken: attempt to deliver again, left the order with your neighbour or left your order in a safe place within your property.

How to Track an Order

You can track your order through the Debenhams website. You will be asked to provide the order number and either your postcode or email address.

How to Return Your Order

UK Returns – You can return your order to any Debenhams store in the UK. You will need to complete a returns form to do this. If you wish to send back an order, you will still need to complete the returns form. Most orders can be returned free of charge through a Hermes ParcelShop service. If you choose return your order using a different postal services, delivery charges will be applied.

Furniture Returns – If you are returning furniture, rugs, barbeques, mirrors or chimeneas, you will need to contact Debenhams via telephone or email to arrange a courier pickup. Take note that certain delivery charges may apply.

International Returns – The only way for you to return an international order is through post. The cost will vary, depending on your delivery address and your reason for returning your order. In case the order arrived to you in a damaged or faulty condition, you will be refunded the entire delivery charge

e-Gift Cards – These are delivered in 24 hours and you can select from an array of e-Gift Card designs. You can choose a value from £10 to £250.

Gift Card Beauty Box – This is delivered in 5 business days. You can select from an array of brands and values from £30 to £300.

Gift Cards for Business – These can be in the form of a regular gift card, e-Gift card or gift voucher. These work great as incentives or rewards. These are delivered within 24 hours free of charge. Discounts can vary and start at 4%. The card or voucher can be customised with messages, images or logos.

How to Check Your Gift Card Balance Online

You can check the balance left in your Debenhams gift card through the website. You will need to provide your card number and your PIN to proceed with the balance enquiry.

Lost Gift Card

Under the Debenhams Gift Card Terms and Conditions, Debenhams will not be responsible for stolen or lost gift cards.

If you have lost or misplaced the print out of your e-gift card, you can visit the original email and click on the link to access the e-gift card once more.

Gift Card Validity

If a gift card remains unused, it will expire after 24 months from the date when it was purchased.

If a gift card has been used, it will expire after 24 months from the date when it was last used or a balance enquiry was last made.
